Head East to the recently refurbished Grade II listed Haggerston School, Erno Goldfinger’s only secondary built between 1964 and '65. The Hungarian-born London-based Modernist was one of the first architects to develop the use of concrete aesthetically in the UK inspired by Auguste Perret and Le Corbusier and you will see them in the ceilings especially as you get a rare glimpse inside this working school which has some of Goldfinger's boldest interiors to date.
If you are mad about The Eames, Jacobsen, Bertoia, Nelson, Wegner, Charley Harper and The Days you will definitely get your fill from Europe’s best Midcentury Dealers in furniture, ceramics, glass, wallpaper, vintage fabrics, industrial, clocks, collectable posters and much, much more.
