WHAT:

Join Alexander Vreeland for a lively conversation with student curators of the MFIT exhibition The Women of Harper’s Bazaar, 1936-1958. Mr. Vreeland, grandson of the legendary fashion editor Diana Vreeland, will present his new book, which covers her nearly three-decade tenure at Harper’s Bazaar and her creative collaborations with editor-in-chief Carmel Snow and Alexey Brodovitch, working with photographers such as Richard Avedon and Louise Dahl-Wolfe. A book signing will follow the presentation.

This event is presented by the graduate students in the Fashion Institute of Technology’s MA program in Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice.
