WHAT:

This exhibition from MoMA will explore the past, present and future of 99 items of fashion that have had a strong impact on society in the 20th and 21st centuries. Items studied range from the recent - such as Levi’s 501s, the Casio watch, and the Little Black Dress - to the ancient and culturally significant - such as the kippah and the keffiyeh.
