The Buyers Den was created by Rise in 2015 to help showcase emerging talent to leading buyers in the UK, as well as provide insight as to what buyers are really looking for in a new brand, and in the format of a live pitch event.
The Rise committee felt that there were not enough opportunities for brands to speak to potential buyers and understand more clearly what they are looking for. Emerging talent is key to the lifecycle of fashion: both buyers, entrepreneurs and other professionals can learn from exploring what makes a brand cutting edge as well as commercial.
The Buyers Den returns in 2016, this time open to both men's and womenswear and with an online trial with John Lewis up for grabs.
