"Jeans For Refugees is a global initiative facilitating innovation, communication and collaboration to raise funds for refugees worldwide. All the jeans that will be featured on the runway have been donated by celebrities to be painted by Johny Dar. Each piece is being auctioned online at catawiki.com/jeansforrefugees and proceeds will be donated to the International Rescue Committee. This runway presentation is a live viewing of the Jeans For Refugees collection, enabling audiences to see these wearable art pieces on the body and in movement, so they can choose their favourite piece to bid for online. All one-of-a-kind avant-garde haute couture pieces featured in the show will also be auctioned, and proceeds donated specifically to supporting displaced and vulnerable women. "
