CASA BEYT HOME

WHEN:

September 19th 2017 to September 24th 2017
Ended

WHERE:

New York

WHAT:

Curated by Denise Maroney, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate and textiles artist, pop-up CASA BEYT HOME features objects for the home made by a collection of 16 artisans and designers from throughout the Middle East and Central America. Visitors will also have the chance to take a piece (or two) of the artisanal pop-up home with them. A select number of objects are in fact made by refugee women living in Lebanon; all proceeds from the sale of their embroidery will go directly back to their textile co-ops and NGOs.
