While attending the Fashion Institute of Technology, he interned at Vera Wang, assisted at ELLE magazine and worked as a front desk receptionist at a NYC hair salon. Right out of school, he jumped into the fashion industry as a shoe designer for Sam Edelman. He then competed in season 10 of Project Runway where he won four challenges, including: the Rockettes costume, the Lord and Taylor gown and the BabiesRUs dress and showed at fashion week finishing in fourth place. From there, he entered back into the industry as an associate designer for the brand Haute Hippie. While at HH he designed in all aspects including fur, leather, handbags, jewelry, gowns, ready to wear, cut and sew, and embellishments. He took a brief hiatus from HH to compete on Season 3 of Project Runway Allstars where he finished in fourth place.
