Berta Cabestany fell in love with Art and Design aged 16, and spent her formative years exploring photography, painting, jewelry, and most importantly drawing and fashion. At art school she stumbled on a technique of drawing called ‘blind drawing’ with which she has experimented with for the last decade – and has come to influence the motifs within her collections.

Equally passionate about her Catalan heritage and her curiosity in the world – Berta has studied intensively at Central Saint Martins, Parsons and iconic couture house Lesage where she was inspired by innovative and heritage textiles techniques. She fuses these with her hand-drawings and locally sourced artisans establishing an atelier in Barcelona where she lives today.
