WHAT:

Shoes: Anatomy, Identity, Magic explores our physical, social, and psychological relationship with shoes. The exhibition begins with a pair of baby shoes, indicating how shoes accompany us on the journey of life. Visit their website for more info.

The exhibition features more than 300 of the 5,000 pairs of shoes, boots, sandals, and sneakers in the museum's permanent collection, aka "the closet." It will be accompanied by a book, Shoes: The Collection of The Museum at FIT, published by Taschen.
