I religiously follow this sample sale and stopped in on Sat. Lots of stuff but basically the leftovers from prior sales and their online super sale. New shoes however. I walked out empty handed which is unlike me.
Worth it? Only if you’re in the mood to shop and looking for fillers for your closet.
I went today, was able to get a pair of boots for myself (sz 38) and my daughter (sz 37). However, not a lot in women’s size 7 and below. Most of the boots were women’s size 8 and up. Not a big kids selection at all, mostly pink cowboy boots. I waited about 20 minutes when I went at 4pm. Took some photos to share here.
Price list here! Lots of formal dresses, both bridal and non-bridal, in different sizes. There is a dressing room area.

This was such a sweet, intimate brownstone sale. I had so much fun with Christine styling me- I felt like a queen. Found some wonderful gems from Chanel, Prada and Dolce. Can’t wait for the next one!! Next time I’ll have to get there on an earlier day for more selection and better prices. I feel like I missed out!

I visited this sale before work and it’s definitely worth going. (I only had time to peruse the 260 location and not the other one right across the street.) There was a great selection of colorful Isabel Marant dresses and Marc Jacobs clothes, the high end line you’d find at Bergdorf’s. Now I wasn’t planning to, but did find a MJ x Peanuts camera bag — so cute for $114, I bought it! If I could visit again with more time over the weekend, I would.
This is not a Jil Sander sale!!! This is a store with many brands on sale and maybe about 10 unremarkable Jil Sander items!!

Barely any inventory and this was on day 2 hours after opening. It was obvious not very much inventory when doors opened either.
About 20 pairs of shoes sizes 6 1/2 to 8 mostly Mary Jane’s. There were plenty of damaged bags that could be easily fixed at one of the zipper/button places in the fashion district.
They did have big selection of XL large clothes for reasonable prices and they were in great condition and really gorgeous.
Lots of employees working this event. Maybe these were unpaid interns. Just seemed like an unnecessary amount of staff for a sample sale. They were literally half of the crowd.
They put out some Marc Jacobs clothes for 80% off. A few Tom Dixon items. MJ bags still 70% off.

Went to VIP yesterday - size runs were a bit spotty, but pricing was good. There were items from past seasons as well as some current ones from the sale section on their website (linen vests, some mini dresses, tops, pants, swim). Not much re: accessories. Had to wait in long lines for the fitting room since they started letting people in in waves with a 10 item limit. Got two dresses for $60 each, pants for $50 and a linen shirt for $40. Would go back if they start offering discounts.

Lots of men’s RHUDE clothing. I know the prices are good for the brand but there are a lot of items arbitrarily priced high and exactly the same amount like $1750 so even with the 80% off it’s still relatively high. RHUDE items do go on sale so it’s not fantastic. Hoping they get sold to another liquidator and we see them even cheaper somewhere soon.
Chicmi is my go to when shopping and discovering new brands. The fun never ends :)
