Joanna Trollope OBE is one of the UK’s most prolific and popular authors. She has written eighteen bestselling novels, from A Village Affair to The Rector's Wife (both televised) and more recently The Soldier’s Wife and Balancing Act.

She also writes novels as ‘Caroline Harvey’ and, to the delight of all Austen fans, she wrote a modern-day version of Sense and Sensibility in the voice off Jane Austen.
