1920s Jazz Age Fashion Collectors' Talk

Meet the Jazz Age Fashion and Photographs collectors and lenders, Mark and Cleo Butterfield, Terence Pepper and the Mary Evans Picture Archive in conversation with the exhibition curator Dennis Nothdruft.

Explore the stories behind their collections, their changing tastes and the passion with which they have fought to restore and preserve the past for future generations. Learn about the pieces the Museum has selected for the exhibition, and the skills involved in editing private collections for public display. A fascinating opportunity to learn more the 1920s, and a few tips on how you might start your own collection.

The talk starts at 1pm in the Fashion Studio and lasts for approximately 45 minutes including the chance to ask questions. It is followed by a book signing of 1920s Jazz Age Fashion, published to accompany the exhibition.
