Come to the THEA PORTER 70s Bohemian Chic exhibition and add some Seventies sparkle to your visit with a glass of fizz.
Get set for spring by taking style inspiration from the original fashion bohemian, Thea Porter (1927–2000). From her Damascus upbringing to Hollywood high society clients, Porter helped invent the hippie aesthetic beloved by Talitha Getty, Elizabeth Taylor, Faye Dunaway and the writer Edna O’Brien. Chart Porter’s journey from a tiny Soho showroom to global success through a collection of over 150 textiles, garments, sketches and photographs, and then discuss the current Seventies style revival over a glass of fizz in the Museum café.
The Museum café is operated by Teapod and offers a range of 20 top quality loose leaf teas together with espresso based coffees and a fantastic selection of hand-made cakes, salads, soups and stews.
Price: £10 includes a voucher for a glass of fizz in Teapod café, to be redeemed on the night by 7.15pm.
