Join this online course to learn each country's dress history often with social and regional variations, you will get to look at the dress of people in Asia, Africa, America, parts of Europe, and the British Isles. You will be able to see where similarities existed and to recognize the extent to which British fashion has been influenced by other cultures. Follow the Get Tickets link to book your place.

The course begins with the essential clothing required by seventeenth-century emigrants heading for a new life in the North American colonies and ends with a look at nineteenth-century fashion in Britain and at the movements which foreshadowed the radical developments of the twentieth century.
