WHAT:

J-Style is a week long exhibition celebrating the influence of Japanese fashion in the UK. Seven artists working across a variety of different mediums explore the colourful and creative world of a fashion that originated in Harajuku, the home of Tokyo's alternative fashion culture. Exhibiting artists include photographer Emily Faulder (pictured).

Alumni student Emily Faulder returns to LCCA along with 6 other artists to present their J-Style exhibition. ‘J-Style’ celebrates the influence of alternative Japanese fashion within the UK.

Through a range of mediums, 7 artists present their passion for Japanese street fashion, from design and dressmaking, to illustration and photography.

Private view: 23 September, 6pm - 10pm
Open to the public: 23 - 30 September, 10am - 6pm
30 September open until 10pm
