Hey fashionistas! We've got some exciting news for you. Bestir is back with their highly anticipated Luxury & Designer Sample & Stock Clearance Sale in London. Get ready to snag some amazing deals on your favorite luxury brands from Friday January 26 to Sunday January 28, 2024.
This three-day event is a must-visit for all fashion enthusiasts. Bestir has curated a selection of top-notch brands including Alanui, Alexander Wang, Aries, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, and many more. While the majority of the stock is women's clothing, there will also be a small selection of menswear available.
But before you rush to the venue at 524 Oxford St, let's take a moment to hear what our CHICMI users had to say about the last Bestir sale in London. Camille mentioned that the lack of mirrors made it difficult to try on vintage clothes and assess their fit. Lighting was also an issue, making it hard to spot imperfections in the stock. However, she did manage to find a lovely Celine button-down shirt and a Tory Burch sequin and silk tunic.
Ri, on the other hand, praised the helpful staff and good bargains at the sale. However, she expressed disappointment over the no-trying-on policy, which caused friction between customers and staff. Trying on clothes is essential, especially when it comes to vintage pieces with varying sizes and fits. Ri hopes this issue will be addressed in future sales.
Another CHICMI user, IIPbII, shared their positive experience at the sale. They found plenty of eye-catching items, although shoe sizes were limited. Prices were around 70% off the recommended retail price, with brands like Prada, Balenciaga, and Versace on offer. They even splurged on a Bang & Olufsen Beosound level at a fraction of the original price.
Abi was pleasantly surprised by the range of clothing still available at the sale. Although the items were jumbled together, she managed to find some great pieces, including Frame jeans, J Crew cashmere jumper, Isabel Marant jumper, Ganni maxi dress, and a Sandro Coat. Her only criticism was the lack of mirrors, which made it difficult to see how the clothes looked.
Lastly, JELG shared their experience as one of the first shoppers at the sale. They found lots of lovely pieces, especially in the clothing department. However, they advised those looking for bags to arrive early, as most were picked up in the first slot. They managed to snag a virtually brand new Loro Piana jumper for just £25. Vintage lovers will also be delighted to find gorgeous pieces from YSL, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, and more.
